Next up: The Old Man & the Old Moon at KC Rep

I am very busily (and very happily) in rehearsals for a production of PigPen Theatre Co.’s The Old Man & the Old Moon at Kansas City Repertory Theatre. It tells the epic story of how the moon was filled with light, and how it came to go through its phases; I play the Old Man.

The show is an actor-musician piece, so I’m also getting to play guitar and (for the first time in a WHILE) clarinet. And it’s a chance to reunite with a favorite collaborator, director Stuart Carden - I previously got to work with Stuart on his productions of Merchant on Venice and A Year with Frog & Toad, both of which I hold as very formative and cherished moments in my career.

Opening night is on May 6; for more information - including how to get tickets - click HERE!
