A brief pause…
If you came to see Aladdin between late May and the end of June, you might have noticed that I wasn’t there! In mid-May, I became ill with numbness in my arms and legs, and was hospitalized for a few days. The diagnosis was Guillain-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disorder wherein antibodies mistakenly attack one’s nerves.
It is rare and can progress quickly, but it is also treatable, and I had excellent care. Fortunately, the tour was in Chicago when I got sick, so I was able to rest and recuperate at home with my wife while my nerves regenerated and repaired themselves. I’m happy to say that I’m fully recovered and back on the road in Edmonton - see you soon!!
